Cleanup Campaign at Sankata Temple

Manav Sewa Foundation Nepal successfully conducted a special cleanup campaign at the historic Sankata Temple premises. This initiative aimed to maintain the cleanliness of the sacred site while promoting environmental awareness in society.

The campaign began at 8:00 AM with the active participation of foundation members, volunteers, local residents, and representatives of various organizations. Participants contributed by collecting and managing waste around the temple premises and its surroundings.

Sankata Temple is a culturally and religiously significant site visited by hundreds of devotees daily. A clean temple not only enhances the experience for visitors but also supports the preservation of heritage.

During the program, the foundation’s president remarked,
“Through our collective effort, we have successfully made Sankata Temple premises clean and beautiful. Such initiatives will instill a sense of responsibility toward cleanliness in society.”

Future Plans

Manav Sewa Foundation plans to continue organizing similar cleanup drives at other public and religious sites in the future.
