Stationary Distribution and Fee Support

Since 2002, EDUC Nepal have been committed to share education, love, and affection to the underprivileged children of Kathmandu. Their Mission is in their name – the Education and Development of the Underprivileged Children of Nepal.  By providing education and development to the economically and socially challenged children of our country, they are helping to make Nepal a better place to live in the future. They not only provide the highest quality of education to the children, but they believe that every child must also learn to be spiritually and morally strong from within to achieve their dreams.

EDUC-Nepal is specifically designed for children of parents who cannot afford to send them to school. While they work all day, the children are often left alone, which can expose them to street life and begging. They are not only a school, but a children’s welfare center’s that takes a holistic approach to assist with raising the children. It take special care to ensure girls’ participation in education. Female empowerment and early women’s education will help raise economic productivity, lower maternal and infant mortality, reduce fertility rates, and improve the health, well-being, and educational prospects of the next generation. It envision a Nepal that is free from corruption, and they would like to make a small but lasting impact by giving the children of tomorrow a proper moral, academic, and spiritual education. The children at EDUC-Nepal come from a variety of backgrounds, and while their stories are all unique, they share in common a difficult life at home. Many of them live in the poorest areas of Kathmandu, living in just one small room with their entire family.

The children at EDUC-Nepal comes from different background usually from low socio-economic, poor familial environment background, also from abusive parents, etc. The founder of the organization are cousins named Bishnu Kumar Ghale, Keshari Gurung and Beena, the main aim of this cousins brother and sister is to reduce this problems through spirituality medium and education as an fundamental unit for their future. So, they started it with many hustles and problems, collecting penny from everyone and form the international volunteers. During the interrogation with the Keshari Gurung ma’am, she said that she has contributed 23 years of her life in teaching in an governmental schools, during those period of time she observed many students who did not come to school due to the lack of economy condition of their parents, then she decided to give hands to this underprivileged by which means the children of labour worker, slum areas and who has familial problems to teach them and foster their intelligence in education. At that period, she faced so many challenges such as financial crisis, payment of the land and so on. But some of the international trainee came to help and after few years from collecting donations. She build a school from that donation which includes 6-7 rooms’ classes from kindergarten to class 1.

The Team of Manav Sewa Foundation, Nepal contacted Shweta Gurung who is the teacher of EDUC Nepal and visited the School on 2079/02/04 and interacted with the Co-founder Keshari Gurung ma’am. In which they came to know that there are lots of students who cannot afford to buy books and pay Fees. After that the whole team had meeting regarding what can be done from their side for the School and came in conclusion to distribute Book, Stationary items, Chocolates and Pay fee of students who are not being able to pay it.
