Manav Sewa Foundation Nepal successfully organized a special cleanup campaign at the sacred Swoyambhunath premises. This program aimed to preserve the religious site, maintain environmental cleanliness, and promote a sense of collective responsibility.

The campaign began at 7:00 AM with enthusiastic participation from foundation members, volunteers, local residents, and representatives of various organizations. The activities included waste collection, proper disposal, and efforts to keep the area clean and hygienic.

Swoyambhunath, known as the “Self-Existing” shrine, is one of Nepal’s most significant religious and tourist destinations. Cleaning such an important site not only aids in cultural and religious preservation but also fosters environmental awareness.

At the conclusion of the event, the foundation’s president shared,
“Swoyambhunath is our pride. It is our privilege to contribute to its cleanliness. Initiatives like this will bring positive change to society.”

Future Plans

Manav Sewa Foundation plans to organize similar cleanup drives at other religious and public sites in the future.
