Ram Krishna Dulal is a 24 year old boy from Panchkhal-05. He used to work in a Doughnut company and one day when he was returning back from his job with friends he got into a bike accident. The accident took place on 2078/10/06 at night. As per his brother he was riding the bike and the tyre of the bike slipped after colliding in a stone in the roadside. After that Ram krishna dulal slipped and due to the speed of the bike he collided in a concrete wall facing his head towards the wall. This accident caused breakage of his skull bones along with major injuries over his whole face and body specially head. He was taken to the hospital by the police after seeing him in unconscious state. Since he had a major accident his ct scan was done to see the complexity of the case. The ct scan showed that he had Fronto Temporal EDH and Left Sided Acute Subdural Hematoma. After the ct scan report the family members were counseled about the need of ICU and he was kept in ICU for a total of 19 days at Dhulikhel Hospital. After keeping him at ICU for 19 days he was shifted to post operative ward where he was regular monitored by the doctors. After that he was shifted to Kuruwaghar for daily physiotherapy for two weeks.
As per the hospital, the total cost for treatment might be 15 lakhs which includes replacement of skull bones as well. Til Prasad Dulal has been managing the money for his brothers treatment. In this process he came in contact with Manav Sewa Foundation, Nepal. Besides our organisation he has been seeking help from other organisations as well because their income source is very limited and are financially weak. He has provided every documents to our organisation along with reference letters from Municipality and Hospital as well.
As per his brother, Ram Krishna’s skull bone has been removed due to the breakage and needs to be repaired by replacing it with another bone made of concrete cement. For this he needs total 3 lakhs which he has been asking from different sources like media, organisations, government bodies.
The support program was planned after the patient’s brother reached out to us asking for help. He came to our organisation with all the detailed information about the case. After meeting with him and noting down the information about the accident, the team of foundation went to Dhulikhel Hospital to see the patient’s condition. Ram Kumar Dulal was in hospital bed in a poor health condition. He was kept their for about a month and that condition was the improved version of Ram Kumar Dulal as per his sisters information given on that day. He is still not able to walk properly, neither he can talk normally. So after the field visit and going through all the reports and documents, the team decided to help Til Prasad Dulal for his brother’s treatment and gave him support of Rs. 10,000 for the treatment.
